AGREEMENT
The person who signs this agreement represents that he/she is authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of both exhibitor and the owner of the entered dog. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry:
1.1. As used here "NADAC" means the North American Dog Agility Council, LLC. And NADAC Australia, its members,officers, directors, employees, show chairs, show committees and agents.
1.2. Exhibitor/owner agree to abide by the rules and regulations of NADAC and any other rules and regulations appearing in the premium for this event.
1.3. Exhibitor/owner certify that the entered dog is not a hazard to persons, dogs or property and that the entered dog's rabies vaccination is current in accordance with the requirement of the state in which the dog resides.
1.4. Exhibitor/owner acknowledge all hazards presented by the event and the event premises, including, but not limited to, the condition of the surface, restrooms, security measures or lack of, electrical appliances, fittings, show rings, parking areas and the presence of unfamiliar animals and people; exhibitor and owner assume the risk of any harm arising from these.
1.5. Exhibitor/owner releases NADAC (including its respective officers, directors, employees, and members), Paws to Consider (including its officers, directors, members, and event organizing committee), and Moorabbin Airport (including its officers, agents, and employees) and the Local, State and Federal Governments of Australia and will defend them and hold them harmless from all present and future loss, injury, damage, claims, demands and liabilities involving the entered dog, the event or event premises. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing hold harmless provisions, exhibitor/owner hereby specifically assumes sole responsibility for and agrees to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damages because of bodily injuries, including death, at any time in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, howsoever such injury or death may be caused and whether or not the same may have been caused or may have been alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents or any other persons
NADAC AUSTRALIA COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR CLUBS AND EXHIBITORS
AIMS:
• Reduce risk of potential contact with covid-19 positive individuals.
• Manage gathering size according to Government Restrictions
• Maintain safe social distancing of 1.5 metres
• Provide handwashing/sanitising facilities
• Limit handling of agility equipment
• Provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to volunteers and workers
• Reduce paperwork and restrict handling of necessary paperwork
• Prevent cross contamination via leashes and other objects
• To ensure host clubs comply with COVID-19 guidelines
PROCEDURES:
Reduce risk of potential contact with covid-19 positive individuals
• Signed exhibitor Health check and covid-19 exposure declaration on day of competition
required for competition
• Signed assumption of risk waiver by all trial site attendees (officials, exhibitors and
spectators)
• Excusal of exhibitors from trial if they attend the trial whilst unwell.
Manage gathering size according to Government Restrictions
• Closely monitor entry numbers – checking people numbers (trial is full when we reach the
gathering number allowed – Agility Unscrambled tracks Handler Numbers in Trial stats)
• Prohibit spectators – only allow exhibitors and essential people for the running of the event
• No group briefings – all briefings to be pre-recorded and available prior to the trial
Maintain safe social distancing of 1.5 metres
• Signage on trial site reminding exhibitors of social distancing
• Crating to adhere to social distancing
• Limiting people in score gazebo to 2 people (timekeeper and scribe – no scorer)
• Separate table for the 2 workers in score gazebo – social distance 1.5 metres
• Marshalling chute – only one team at a time in chute (we already do this)
• Maintain distancing in marshalling area (we already encourage distance between dogs)
Provide handwashing/sanitising facilities
• Handwashing facilities/ hand sanitiser readily available
• Promote exhibitors having their own hand sanitiser
Limit handling of agility equipment
• Specify a ring crew for the day and the ring crew will be the only people involved in course
building and course changes
Provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to volunteers and workers
• Handwashing/sanitising facilities available. Sanitiser should be available at the score table,
the equipment trailer and in the marshalling area. Exhibitors are also encouraged to have
and use their own sanitiser as part of the own personal trial kit
• Bar Setters and course builders will required to hand sanitise before and after handling
agility equipment.
• Table workers will be required to hand sanitise before the class starts and upon completion
of the class.
• Masks are not required as per Government recommendations but if a handler wishes to
wear one by choice whilst at the trial or whilst running their dog they shall be permitted to
do so.
Reduce paperwork and restrict handling of necessary paperwork
• Providing exhibitor paperwork online prior to trial day (eg run orders and job rosters)
• Instruct exhibitors to print out their own hardcopies of rosters and run orders
• Post results online (Adobe online, google docs, Facebook (photo and post results), email
exhibitor results after each class is entered – all require internet connection)
• Ziplock bag – containing scoresheet, small pencil and eraser and clipboard for each class
collected and handled only by scribe and club data entry person.
Prevent cross contamination via leashes and other objects
• Allow handlers a choice of leash handling options. Option 1: to carry leashes on course in
their pockets or in a bum bag without penalty (leash must not be visible and bum bag
discreet). Option 2: Family member or friend can leash run for those not wanting to carry
leash on course (handler should provide hand sanitiser/gloves to their leash buddy). Option
3: Rostered leash walker will use a grabber tool to move the leash from the start line to the
finish line. The gripper will be dipped into appropriate cleaner between runs so as to reduce
cross contamination. The gripper Handle will be cleaned appropriately after use by the
rostered leash walker.
• No communal food – this includes BBQ’s, score table lollies
• Ribbons will be collated and bagged for those wanting ribbons by a trial official and collected
at the end of the trial day. Exhibitors are encouraged to consider trial credits instead of
ribbons where offered by a club. The trial official will hand sanitiser regularly whilst collating
ribbons.
• The timing console will be wiped down frequently throughout the day.
• Highest in Trial prizes will only be handled by the club official and recipient of the Award.

• Club signature on covid-19 release of liability form (see attached)
